Background: <br />After processing the plat of Ramsey Town Center 10 Addition, it came to Staff's attention <br />that a street name contained on the plat of Ramsey Town Center 10 Addition is incorrectly <br />identified. 149 Lane as shown on the plat should be labeled as 149 Ave. NW. The <br />following items are enclosed for your information: <br />Notification: <br />PROPOSED STREET NAME CHANGE IN <br />RAMSEY TOWN CENTER 10 ADDITION; <br />CASE OF CITY OF RAMSEY <br />By: Patrick Trudgeon, AICP, Community Development Director <br />a. Proposed ordinance <br />Property owners along 149 between Bison St. and Zeolite St. were notified of the proposed <br />street name correction. <br />Observations: <br />There is only one occupied house currently on 149 Lane NW. The property owner will be <br />the only one affected. It is important to point out that the number address will not change; <br />only the street name. <br />On October 24, 2006, the City Council conducted a public hearing and introduced an <br />ordinance to change the street name. There were no public comments received at the public <br />hearing. <br />Recommendation: <br />City Staff recommends adoption of the ordinance. <br />Action: <br />Motion by Councilmember and seconded by Councilmember <br />to adopt the proposed ordinance to change the street name of 149 Lane N.W. <br />between Bison St. NW and Zeolite St. NW to 149 Avenue N.W. <br />Review Checklist: <br />Public Works Director <br />Asst.
