Title: Adopt Resolution #25-123 Awarding Construction Staking Contract for MSA Alpine Drive Reconstruction, Improvement Project #25-03 Purpose/Background: Purpose: The purpose of this case is to adopt Resolution #25-123 awarding construction staking contract for MSA Alpine Drive Reconstruction, Improvement Project #25-03. Background: On May 27, 2025, City Council adopted Resolution #25-013, awarding a construction contract to Park Construction Company for the MSA Alpine Drive Reconstruction, Improvement Project #25-03. Construction staking is essential to the construction of said improvements, and City staff does not have the capacity to perform construction staking in-house. Hakanson Anderson submitted a proposal for construction staking and as -built survey of the proposed improvements for a total amount of $24,000.00. City staff proposes to administer and inspect construction. Plans and specifications were prepared in-house as part of staff's normal duties. Notification: Notifications are not required as part of this case. Time Frame/Observations/Alternatives: Alternatives: Motion to adopt Resolution #25-123 awarding construction staking contract for MSA Alpine Drive Reconstruction, Improvement Project #25-03. Funding Source: On May 27, 2025, City Council adopted Resolution #25-013 awarding a construction contract to Park Construction Company for said MSA Alpine Drive Reconstruction in the total bid amount of $1,290,247.58. Adding indirect costs in the amount of 23-percent, the total project costs are $1,587,004.52. Hakanson Anderson submitted a proposal for construction staking and as -built survey of the proposed improvements for a total amount of $24,000.00. These services are included in the indirect project costs, and proposed to be paid with Municipal State Aid Funds and Storm Water Utility Funds. Recommendation: Staff recommends adopting Resolution #25-123 awarding construction staking contract for MSA Alpine Drive Reconstruction, Improvement Project #25-03.
