CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />06/10/2025 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Enhance City's communication through transparency and accountability. <br />Title: <br />Legislative Update <br />8. 1. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The 2025 Minnesota Legislative Session closed on May 19, 2025 without completion of final bills. Lawmakers <br />have been holding working groups prior to reconvening for final passage of bills. No date has been shared on <br />when a special session may occur. Furthermore, information on what has been supported by the working groups <br />has been limited. Since the May 27, 2025 City Council meeting, staff has not received any note worthy update on <br />Ramsey's legislative efforts. <br />Recommendation: <br />Outcome/Action: <br />This case is for informational purposes only.
