Absent: Commissioner <br /> <br />Case 14: Discussion Reiardini Workshop With John Stine Of DNRRegarding <br />Requirements-For River Development: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris noted that John Stine of DNR has offered to conduct a workshop <br />to review requirements for and restrictions on development along the Rum <br />River and the Mississippi River. <br /> <br />The consensus was that Ms. Norris should invite Mr. Stine to a regular <br />Board of Adjustment meeting sometime this fall to review restrictions for <br />development along rivers. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman stated that he feels it is inappropriate for him to <br />serve as Chairman for both the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board <br />of Adjustment and suggested the Board appoint a new chairman. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to retain <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman as the Chairman of the Board of Adjustment until the <br />Board vacancy is filled, allowing all members to have input into the <br />appointment. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br />Commissioner Howell. <br /> <br />Commissioners Shumway, Holm, LaDue and <br />Abstain: Chairman Zimmerman.
