<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-142 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT No. 1 TO PARK CONSTRUCTION <br />COMPANY FOR SORTEBERG’S STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT #25-06 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Sorteberg’s <br />Subdivision as identified within the 2025 – 2034 Capital Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-198, adopted July 23, <br />2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic <br />survey of the project area in the amount of $2,560.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-220, adopted August 12, <br />2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, <br />Inc. for a geotechnical report of the project area in the amount of $4,140.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-341, adopted November <br />26, 2024, the City Council order the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for <br />Sorteberg’s Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project #25-06; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-043, adopted February 25, <br />2025, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer <br />and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking and As-built Survey of <br />$8,800.00 from Hakanson Anderson for said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-070, adopted April 8, 2025, <br />a contract was awarded to Park Construction Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the amount <br />of $423,698.35 for said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as of June 24, 2025 $0.00 as been paid to date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment No. 1 to Park Construction Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota, for <br />improvement project #25-06, Sorteberg’s Street Reconstructions, in the amount of $99,236.48. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The City Council hereby authorizes partial payment No. 1 to Park Construction Company <br />of Minneapolis, Minnesota for Improvement Project #25-06, Sorteberg’s Street <br />Reconstructions in the amount of $99,236.48. <br /> <br />
