<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-145 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 2025 MSA <br />PAVEMENT MARKING IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 25-11 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, visible pavement marking is a critical component of driver and pedestrian <br />safety and are a required maintenance operation per MSA rules and standards; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 2025 – 2034 Capital Improvement Program includes an annual MSA <br />Pavement Marking Improvements project to perform pavement markings on a 5-year cycle, <br />outside of reconstructions and pavement overlays; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-345, adopted November <br />26, 2024 the City Council ordered plans and specifications for 2025 MSA Pavement Marking <br />Improvements, Improvement Project #25-11; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, proposals were sent to three (3) contractors known to perform this type of <br />work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one (1) proposal was received, and the following proposal was found to <br />comply with the request for proposal; and <br /> <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />Sir Lines-A-Lot $36,496.10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the bid of Sir Lines-A-Lot of Edina, Minnesota, in the amount of $36,496.10 <br />for the total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with the request for proposal, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />
