<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Counc~l is that the fence be placed no less than five feet <br />back frQm'theproperty line'to allow'for mowing on both sides of the fence. <br /> <br />Discussion held on whether to leave Building No. 3 as proposed for a possible <br />drive around it, or to run it back to the fence to eliminate any storage <br />behind it.' <br /> <br />Discussion held also on the type of fence. A wooden fence looks nicer and <br />is a better sound barrier but there is upkeep, versus a basket-weave metal <br />fence which would require less maintenance. <br /> <br />It was noted that the plan submitted for record is marked Exhibit No.1. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Mayor Gamec to allow a variance to <br />Section 170.013D of the City Code to permit a one foot setback as proposed <br />for the cement b10ck bui1ding marked No. 1 on the p1an presented and marked <br />Exhibit No.1, and the same allowance on the existing storage building marked <br />No. 2 on Exhibit No.1. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />and Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />None. <br /> <br />Voting yes: <br />Voting no: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Mayor Gamec to allow a variance to Section <br />170.013A for a variance of 33 feet for the proposed storage building on the <br />south side of the property on Front Street and which is marked Building No.3. <br /> <br />Discussion noted that granting of these variances doesn't include action by the <br />City Council in regard to the screening or other matters that pertain to this <br />proposal. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />and Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, MiCkelson, Reimann <br />Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Mayor Gamec that this proposal will be <br />referred to the Planning & Zoning Commission for their review of the following: <br /> <br />1. A 6 foot fence with as much sound abating qualities as possible. <br />2. Review of the parking facilities <br />3. Allowing not less than a five foot setback for the fence from the property line. <br />4. Review of the drainage. <br />5. Exterior appearance of all buildings. <br />6. Address how this affects the existing septic system. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning recommendations are to be referred back to the City Council <br />for their review before entering into the development contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
