<br />. <br /> <br />Page 2 <br />April 9, 1979 <br />Board of Adjustment <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Councilman Reimann <br />and Councilman Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Mr. High said he has Some lumber and asked where he can store it. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec explained that the City has had problems with vandalism with <br />builders. He feels the best thing for Mr. High to do if he has things <br />like this to store is to check into some of the new facilities that are <br />going up in the area for storage. They are watched a lot better. <br /> <br />Mr. High indicated that he did not care to rent storage. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann informed Mr. High that he could store anything on his <br />property as long as it isn't a nuisance. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox added that there is also a blight ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec told Mr. High that as long as he owned the property he could <br />store some things on it as long as it was kept orderly and didn't violate <br />the City Ordinances. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox cautioned Mr. High against leaving anything of value on the <br />property. <br /> <br />At 7:52 P.M. the Board of Adjustment took into consideration the request <br />. of Mr. Kenneth Vold for a variance to construct a garage at his residence. <br /> <br />Discussion was held regarding the request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann seconded by Mayor Gamec to grant the variance <br />for this garage to be situated on his lot toward the road allowing a minimum <br />setback of 4'0 feet or more from the road, with inspect,ion by the City Building <br />Official to assure that the proposed garage is in line with Mr. Voldls house or <br />back ten feet farther than the rest of the homes in the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Motion ca.rried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Councilman Reimann <br />a.nd Councilman Sorteberg. Voting rio: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adjourn the <br />Board of Adjustment. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Councilman Reimann <br />and Counci lman $ortebe,rg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:58 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br />
