. Page 2 April 9, 1979 Board of Adjustment Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Councilman Reimann and Councilman Sorteberg. Voting no: None. Mr. High said he has Some lumber and asked where he can store it. Mayor Gamec explained that the City has had problems with vandalism with builders. He feels the best thing for Mr. High to do if he has things like this to store is to check into some of the new facilities that are going up in the area for storage. They are watched a lot better. Mr. High indicated that he did not care to rent storage. Councilman Reimann informed Mr. High that he could store anything on his property as long as it isn't a nuisance. Councilman Cox added that there is also a blight ordinance. Mayor Gamec told Mr. High that as long as he owned the property he could store some things on it as long as it was kept orderly and didn't violate the City Ordinances. Councilman Cox cautioned Mr. High against leaving anything of value on the property. At 7:52 P.M. the Board of Adjustment took into consideration the request . of Mr. Kenneth Vold for a variance to construct a garage at his residence. Discussion was held regarding the request. Motion by Councilman Reimann seconded by Mayor Gamec to grant the variance for this garage to be situated on his lot toward the road allowing a minimum setback of 4'0 feet or more from the road, with inspect,ion by the City Building Official to assure that the proposed garage is in line with Mr. Voldls house or back ten feet farther than the rest of the homes in the neighborhood. Motion ca.rried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Councilman Reimann a.nd Councilman Sorteberg. Voting rio: None. Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adjourn the Board of Adjustment. Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Councilman Reimann and Counci lman $ortebe,rg.
