<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment/7-10-78 <br /> <br />No citizen input received. <br /> <br />Motjon by Cox, seconded by Reimann that whereas the Board of Adjustment <br />has held a public hearing on the applicants variance request, which public <br />hearing was duly advertised in the City's legal newspaper and of which <br />written notice was sent to adjacent landowners and, whereas the Board of <br />Adjustment finds the following facts which in the Board's opinion fulfills <br />each of the variance criteria of Section 170.014K of the City's Zoning <br />Chapter: There will be 100 percent brick facing on the front of the <br />building as stated in the ordinance as it exists and 30 percent brick or <br />stone facing on each side of the remaining three sides. Now, therefore, <br />the Board of Adjustment hereby grants a variance from Section 170.014K, <br />Subd. 5 of the City Code of Ramsey and authorizes the proposed structure <br />to be constructed as stated above. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />Item 2. <br /> <br />Chairman Muller announced the commencement of a public hearing for David <br />Schmedke before the City's Board of Adjustment concerning a variance from <br />Section 170.014K, Subd. 5 of the City's Zoning Code to construct a metal <br />building. Mr. Schmedke would like a variance to the requirement of brick <br />or stone exterior on the entire building. <br /> <br />It was noted that this public hearing was officially published in the <br />Anoka County Union and written notice mailed to the affected property owners <br />ten days prior to this hearing. <br /> <br />Mr. Schmedke stated his building will face County Road 56. <br /> <br />A letter was acknowledged from Charles Rohl stating his agreeing to the <br />variance being granted to Mr. Schmedke. <br /> <br />No citizen input received. <br /> <br />MOtion by Cox, seconded by Reimann to grant a variance to the City's <br />Zoning Code contingent on Mr. Schmedke paying the $90 Board of Adjustment <br />fee and that the entire front of the building facing County Road 56 and <br />50 percent of the building facing Highway 10 be covered "lith brick or stone <br />and that no brick or stone will be required on the east or railroad track <br />side. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />MOtion by Cox, seconded by Reimann to adjourn. <br /> <br />Adjournment - 7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Arlene Stafford <br />Acting Clerk <br />
