<br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT 5/22/78 -1- <br />(Held at Ramsey Munic. Center) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING <br /> <br />A meeting of the City of Ramsey's Board of Adjustment was held <br />for the purpose of hearing a request from the zoning ordinance. <br />Chairman Muller called the meeting to order at 7:43 p.m. with <br />the following persons in attendance: <br /> <br />Mayor Cox <br />Councilman Gamec <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Muller <br />Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Secretary: Arlene Peddycoart <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Chrm. Muller <br /> <br />Item 1) Public Hearing <br />Petitioner: David Soucy, 7820 152nd Lane N.W. <br />Request: Variance from zoning ordinance setback requirement. <br />Reason: The foundation for a 24' X 24' garage was already in <br />when he purchased the lot. He has a need for a 12' larger <br />garage than is planned in the existing foundation and if the <br />foundation weren't already in, he would have placed it to meet <br />the City's requirement. <br />Discussion held. <br />There was no comment from the audience regarding this request. <br /> <br />MOTION by Cox, seconded by Reimann to grant a variance to the <br />setback requirement to David Soucy for Lot 7, Block ~ Greenland <br />Hills Addition as per Planning & Zoning recommendations of <br />5/1/78 provided he pay a $90 Board of Adjustment Meeting fee. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Item 2) Public Hearing <br />Petitioner: Richard Klick, 5739 153rd Lane N.W. <br />Request: Variance from zoning ordinance setback requirements. <br />Reason: To attach a double stall garage to present home. <br /> <br />Discussion held as to the need for placement of garage in this <br />location. Mr. Klick said his septic system is on the other side <br />of the house. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />There was no comment from the audience regarding this request. <br /> <br />Motion by Cox, seconded by Reimann to grant a setback variance <br />from the City's Zoning Code for Richard Klick, pro~erty located <br />at 5739 153rd Avenue N.W. as recommended in the 5/1/78 Planning <br />& Zoning minutes and the City Zoning Official's recommendation <br />dated 5711/78 not to exceed 5.7' closer to the property line. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes, 5/8/78 <br /> <br />Motion by Mickelson, seconded by Reimann to approve the May 8, 1978 <br />Board of Adjustment minutes as received. 5 Ayes <br />
