Mr. Acers stated that many homes in the neighborhood, comparable to his, are valued in the high $70' s to mid $80' s. Mr. Ace rs noted that he has 2600 square feet. Mr. Wirz noted that a home comparable to Mr. Acers' s, in that neighborhood, is valued at $111,000; sharp increases in property valuations are not LU1common this year because of the raise in replacement cost values. Michael & Michelle Pomeroy - PIN #25-32-25-13-0013 - 14582 Waco St.NW - Michal Pomeroy stated that he built his home in September of 1987 for $118,000 and now his 1988 property valuation is $149,700; comparable homes in the neighborhood are listed for $134,000-$139,000 and they are not selling. . Mr. Wirz stated that he has reduced the Pomeroy classification to a 4 and that is as much as he can reduce it without out knowing the Pomeroy's total construction costs. Mr. Pomeroy presented an itemized list of his construction costs and stated that his bank appraised the home at $128,000. Mr. Pomeroy stated that he previously owned a comparable home in Andover and the property taxes were $1244/year; in Ramsey his taxes will be $3l00/year. City CoLU1cil suggested that the Pomeroy's take their case to the County Board of Equalization.
