<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CASE 12: <br /> <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING DEVELOPMENT CONTROLS AND <br />JOINT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> <br />Backgrouncl: <br /> <br />At the joint Economic Development Commission and Planning and Zoning Commission <br />meeting, the Planning Commission requested that the EDC create their idea of <br />ideal development of Highway 10 for presentation and discussion at the next <br />joint EDC-Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />In addition, the Commission agreed to come up with a hypothetical proposal for <br />a development in the commercial/industrial area to present to the Planning <br />Commission for their review at the next joint Commission meeting. <br /> <br />For your information, enclosed are the following excerpts from the City Code <br />regarding permitted uses and development requirements: <br /> <br />1) Section 170.015H - Non-conforming Uses <br />2) Section 170.016F - B-1 Business District Standards <br />3) Section 170.016G - B-2 Business District Standards <br />4) Section 170.0161 - I-I Industrial District Standards <br />5) Section 170.017 - Performance Standards <br /> <br />The subcommittee of the EDC and Planning Commission met on August 27 and <br />discussed existing development restrictions and performance standards. <br /> <br />As you recall, at your last joint meeting with the Planning Commission, you <br />agreed to meet again in September.
