"Discussion regarding 'development controls in commercial/ industrial areas. <br />(Eriforcem~ntof existing ordinances regarding development in these areas) <br />Foi.your" information, attached are the following sec t ions of the Zoning <br />'Ordinance: <br /> <br />Section 170.016F, Standards for B-1 Business District (pages 1-3) <br />Section'170.016I, Standards for I Industrial District (pages 4-6) <br />Section 170.017, Performance Standards (pages 7-17) <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Discussion regarding Plants and Things <br /> <br />As you recall, there have been several discussions by the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission and City Council regarding the recent construction of <br />an acc~ssory structure at Plants and Things at 13745 Sunfish Lake <br />Boulevard N.W. The Planning Commission discussed their concerns with <br />Mr. Hickman and recommended that Mr. Hickman be required to fulfill the <br />certified lot survey requirement including identification of parking <br />areas and a schedule for surfacing these parking areas in accordance <br />with ~be'City Code. The City Council received the Planning <br />Commission,'s request'a'itdreconiniended that Mr. Hickman work with City <br />Staff to resolve some of these concerns rather than returning to the <br />Planning Commission. The Planning Commission commented that the <br />Council should specify its reasons for waiving the requirement for the <br />certified' lot' sUr'vey.
