Planning and Zoning Comrission' s discussion of <br />EDC's reqJ.1est for input on plans for future service <br />road along Highway 10 <br /> <br />The Planning COlI'lI'ission discussed the EDC's request <br />that they offer suggestions or any plans for a future <br />service road along Highway 10. The ColI'lI'ission stated <br />that they have only recently started to require <br />developers to provide as easelI'ent for a future service <br />road in plats along Highway 10. The CowlI'ission <br />appointed ColI'lI'issioner Deewer to represent RalI'sey at <br />the North Metro Traffic Task Force. In addition, the <br />COlI'lI'ission discussed, but did not act on, the <br />possibility of having a joint weeting with the EDC and <br />business owners along Highway 10 to discuss a service <br />road. The ColI'wission also discussed, but did not act <br />on, a joint Ireeting with the EDC and City Council to <br />establish a policy for the City with regards to <br />transportation needs of the City. NoveIrber 13. 1985 Ireeting coord~ted by Repre- <br />sentative Hartinger regarding landfill <br /> <br />Representative Hartinger, as a IrelI'ber of the <br />legislative Environwent and Natural Resources <br />CoIrwittee, is hosting an area-wide public hearing on <br />the effect of landfills on cowIrunities. This hearing <br />is scheduled for Wednesday, NoveIrber 13, 1985 at 7:00 <br />p.w. at the RaIrsey EleIrentary SchOOl, 15000 Nowthen <br />Boulevard N.W. Representatives of Andover, Coon <br />Rapids, Oak Grove Township and RaIrsey will be waking <br />presentations at this weeting.
