<br />. <br /> <br />draft of the Airport Master Plan has been sutmitted to the governing agencies. <br />One of the concerns of the Commission is how this airIX>rt developnent would be <br />financed and the idea of Tax Increment Financing was brought up for discussion. <br />'!he AirIX>rt Commission has recamnended that the Econanic De\Telopnent Commission <br />consider recommending that the Tax Incranent Project Area include all of <br />Ramsey's Industrial area plus a snall IX>rtion of residential area, i.e., that <br />area included in the AlP eligibility area. <br /> <br />Motion ~ Commissioner Hardin and seconded ~ Commissioner wagner to direct the <br />Econanic and Finance Subconuni.ttee to meet with Ramsey's Tax Incranent Financing <br />Consultant, Ms. Arlin Waelti, on August 13 regarding the feasibility of Tax <br />Incranent Financing being used for airfOrt developnent; further, that this <br />subcommittee should reIX>rt back to this Commission at it's next regular <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Miller, Muller, <br />Vevea, Fults, Wagner and Hardin.
