<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shumway stated that the multi-trail system could also be <br />developed all along the route fran the Mississippi River through Burns. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Ippel to <br />forward to City Council the recommendation to approve the concept and <br />develop right-of-ways for the realignment and extension of Cty. Rd. #83. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairmans Greenberg and Zimmerman, <br />Commissioners Shumway, Holm, Terry, Greenberg, Fults and Ippel. Voting No: <br />None. Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen, Howell, LaDue, Wagner, Hardin, <br />Vevea, Muller and Gorecki. <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg stated that the Hwy. #10 study points out that Ramsey's <br />identity needs to be improved upon. <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel presented a rough draft of the first Economic Development <br />Company newsletter which will be used to pranote Ramsey. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fults stated that Ramsey's identity needs to be promoted <br />beyond the surrounding area and in areas south of the TWin Cities. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the need for hotel/motel facilities in the <br />area. <br /> <br />Those present agreed that pranoting Ramsey's identity is a task for the <br />Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. James Martin arrived and was shown the concept for the Mississippi <br />River bridge crossing and the realignment of Cty.
