<br />Councilmember Stewart introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-156 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING SEWER CLEANING AND TELEVISING PROPOSALS <br />FOR 2026 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROJECTS <br /> <br />nd <br />WHEREAS, the streets within the Countryside Estates subdivision, Flintwood Hills 2 <br />rd <br />and 3 subdivisions, Riverside West subdivision, and Bunker Lake Boulevard (CR 116) between <br />Jackal Street and Armstrong Boulevard (CR 83) are proposed to be reconstructed in 2026; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-044, adopted February 25, <br />2025, the City Engineer prepared request for proposals for sewer cleaning and televising for 2026 <br />pavement management projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to four (4) firms for the purpose of <br />obtaining quotes for completed the proposed cleaning and televising services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the two (2) cleaning and televising proposals received are tabulated below; <br />and <br />Contractor IP 26-01 IP 26-04 IP 26-05 IP 26-06 <br />Nelson Sanitation and Rental, Inc. $8,799.50 $1,649.20 $16,490.50 $12,641.00 <br />Hydro- Vac, Inc. $12,608.83 $4,410.00 $31,586.89 $20,541.13 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the quote of Nelson Sanitation and Rental, Inc. in the total amount of <br />$39,580.20 for the televising report of IP 26-01, IP 26-04, IP 26-05, and IP 26-06 for said services <br />in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be <br />and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Nelson Sanitation and Rental Inc. for said televising services for and on <br />behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />
