<br />IN~IDE <br /> <br />OCTOBER 2006 <br /> <br />Calendar & Contacts 2 <br />Public Notice 3 <br /> <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Announces <br />Bus Service from the <br />New Municipal Parking Ramp: <br />Ramsey Star Express <br /> <br /> <br />The much antici- <br />pated commuter coach line, <br />Ramsey Star Express, is <br />tentatively scheduled to <br />begin in November, 2006. <br />The Ramsey Star Express <br />will provide service from <br />the new Municipal Parking <br />Ramp located in Ramsey <br />Town Center along Sunwood <br />Drive, between Ramsey and <br />Armstrong Boulevards. The <br />Ramsey Star Express is a <br />new bus service from Ramsey Town <br />Center to Downtown Minneapolis <br />(5th Street Garage). Fares will be <br />$4.50 one-way with four trips in the <br />morning and four return trips in the <br />afternoon/evening. The schedule for <br />the new bus service is on page 4 of <br />this newsletter. <br />The city of Ramsey will be <br />hosting an Open House to kick-off <br />this new service. The event is sched- <br /> <br /> <br />uled on November 2 from 6:00-8:30 <br />pm at the Ramsey Municipal Parl(- <br />ing Facility. The event is open to the <br />public. Come and tour the bus and <br />learn more about this exciting new <br />service and see the latest develop- <br />ments in Town Center. Refreshments <br />will be provided and a program is <br />scheduled beginning at 6:30 pm. <br />The Ramsey Star Express is <br />a new bus service along the North- <br />star Corridor. The Ramsey express <br />service will be operated and managed <br />in cooperation with the Northstar <br />Corridor Development Authority <br />(NCDA) Northstar Commuter Coach. <br />The NCDA currently operates the <br />Northstar Commuter Coach which <br />has stops in Elk River and Coon <br /> <br />Continued on Page 3 <br /> <br />Ramsey <br />Municipal Center <br />is Moving! <br /> <br />On Monday, October, 30, the <br />city of Ramsey will open the doors <br />to the new Ramsey Municipal Center <br />located at 7550 Sunwood Drive. The <br />new site is located on Sunwood Drive <br />between Ramsey and Armstrong <br />Boulevards, just north of Highway <br />10. City Hall, the Police Department, <br />and Fire Administration will be mak- <br />ing the move to the new Municipal <br />Center. All phone numbers and email <br />addresses will remain the same. <br />Due to the move to the new <br />Municipal Center, all City Offices <br />will be CLOSED on Friday, Octo- <br />ber 27.
