<br />Public Notice <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Registering to <br />Vote on Election Day <br /> <br />If you have not pre-registered to vote, you can still <br />register on Election Day at your polling place. Voters reg- <br />istering on Election Day must provide proof of residence. <br />Following are the authorized forms for proof of residence: <br />A valid Minnesota driver's license or learner's per- <br />mit (or receipt of either) showing correct/current <br />address in the precinct. An expired license is NOT <br />considered a valid ID. <br />Tribal ID <br />A valid Minnesota Identification card (or receipt) <br />showing correct/current address in precinct. An <br />expired ID card is NOT considered a valid ID. <br />u.s. passport with utility bill <br />u.s. military photo ID card with utility bill <br />If the Minnesota license, Tribal ID or MN State ID <br />has a former address, voters may bring a current <br />utility bill (due within 30 days of the election) in <br />the voter's name showing the current address in <br />the precinct, along with a photo ID. The utility <br />bill must be one of the following: gas, electric, <br />telephone, cable TV, cell phone, water or sewer <br />services. Photo ID must be one of the following: <br />MN Driver's license, MN ID card, us passport, <br />us military photo ID, Tribal ID or MN student <br />photo ID. <br />A Notice of Late Registration showing the address <br />of the voter in the precinct. The voter receives this <br />notice from Anoka County if they registered fewer <br />than 21 days prior to the election. The voter may <br />present this notice to the election judges as a valid <br />proof of residence. <br />A current student fee statement that contains the <br />student's valid address in the precinct and a picture <br />identification card. Note: There are no such cam- <br />puses in Anoka County. <br />Voters may also register the day of the election <br />if a registered voter in the precinct vouches as a <br />witness for you.
