<br />This program which will be held Monday, November 27
<br />at 7:30 p.m. at the Bunker Hills Activities Center, 550 Bunker
<br />Lake Blvd., Andover is sponsored by the Anoka County Ex-
<br />tension Service.
<br />No matter if we are young or old, we all face the death
<br />of people close to us. Yet, how we deal with it, cope with
<br />it, learn to grow from it is very different. Learn strategies
<br />in dealing with death, grief, and loss both for yourself and
<br />in helping others, both young and old.
<br />Kathy Wise of the Minnesota Center for Grief and Loss
<br />will be the guest speaker. Wise has a masters degree in
<br />human development and currently teaches a grief and loss
<br />support group for 3 & 4 year old children.

<br />RAMSEY SENIOR CITIZENS

<br />
<br />The Ramsey Senior Citizens Club met November 1 st with
<br />38 members and friends present. After a delicious luncheon,
<br />the Club enjoyed a very good presentation by wood carver,
<br />Forest Hansen.
<br />The Seniors would like to take this opportunity to thank
<br />the Ramsey Lions Club for providing them with tickets to
<br />the Country Revue.
<br />The Ramsey Senior Citizens elected new officers for 1990:
<br />Mary Guentzel, President; Aanen Aanenson, Vice President;
<br />Florence Hunt, Secretary; Gladys Bauers, Treasurer. The
<br />Seniors have committed to work together to assist the of-
<br />ficers in their new roles and have a fun year.
<br />The Ramsey Senior Citizens Club will be having it's
<br />Christmas Party on December 6th in the Senior Citizens
<br />Meeting Room at Ramsey Municipal Center.

<br />The Ramsey Youth Athletic Association (RY AA) meets the
<br />fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Teen Center
<br />at Central Park. The RY AA board welcomes your participa-

<br />Metropolitan Brass Quintet. We will have our regular Festive
<br />Worship at 8:00 a.m.

<br />Christmas program, "Wise Guys and Starry Skies" at both

<br />CHRISTMAS EVE SCHEDULE: On Sunday, December 24th,
<br />we will have two worship hours in the morning -- 9:30 and
<br />11 :00 a.m. Christmas Eve services will be held at 4:00,6:00
<br />and 11 :00 p.m., with communion offered at all three ser-
<br />vices. Additionally, the 4:00 & 6:00 services will feature a
<br />String Quartet from the Minnesota Orchestra.

<br />GARDEN OF HOPE CEMETERY
<br />DEDICATED
<br />
<br />The newest cemetery in Ramsey, Garden of Hope, was
<br />dedicated on Sunday, November 5th. The cemetery is own-
<br />ed and maintained by Cross of Hope Lutheran Church.
<br />However, the conditional use permit granted to Cross of Hope
<br />for the cemetery specifies that it will be available to the public
<br />with no discriminations of race, color or creed. Garden of
<br />Hope is located on the south parcel of Cross of Hope
<br />Lutheran Church, Highway 47 and 179th Lane.

<br />4-H offers a variety of experiences for youth ages 6-19.
<br />The organization focuses on the family, no matter who the
<br />members might be. Events, activities and projects provide
<br />quality time for youth and wonderful opportunities for the
<br />parents to guide, support and encourage their child. There
<br />are also many chances to have just plain fun with lots of
<br />laughter.
