Commissioner Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #HRA 08-02-001 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SECRETARY -TREASURER FOR THE RAMSEY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (HRA) TO DELEGATE CERTAIN DUTIES TO CITY STAFF AND CONSULTANTS. WHEREAS, on March 8, 2005, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05-03-072 to establish a Housing and Redevelopment Authority, in and for the City of Ramsey; and WHEREAS, on March 22, 2005, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 469, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution #HRA-05-03-001 to establish by-laws by which it shall be governed; and WHEREAS, the HRA By -Laws require election of officers annually; and WHEREAS, the Board appointed Mary Jo Olson as Chair, David Jeffrey as Vice -Chair, and Matt Look as Secretary/Treasurer for the calendar year 2008; and WHEREAS, the HRA By -Laws state that with a majority approval of the Board of Commissioners, the Secretary -Treasurer may delegate duties to City Staff and/or consultants. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, IN AND FOR THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The Secretary -Treasurer for the Ramsey HRA is herein authorized to delegate the following duties: a) Recording of meeting minutes to Timesavers, Inc. b) Custody and maintenance of HRA funds to the City's Finance Officer The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Gamec, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Chairperson Olson Commissioner Jeffrey Commissioner Gamec Commissioner Elvig Commissioner Look Commissioner Strommen and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
