JOHN ROEMHILD <br />By: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />CASE ~4: <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. John Roemhild is requesting a metes and bounds subdivision of Lot 1, <br />Block 2 of Looyen's Addition. This property is approximately 4.75 acres in <br />size. Mr. Roemhild is proposing to split it into two 2.3 acre parcels. <br />Access to the lots would be from Garnet Street. <br /> <br />The subject property is located in the R-IR Rural Residential District; the <br />minimum lot size is 2.5 acres. <br /> <br />For your information, the following items are enclosed: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Existing parcel <br />c) Proposed subdivision <br />d) Council minutes dated October 9, 1979 <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />When the plat of Looyen's Addition was approved in 1979, the City Council <br />waived the improvement of Garnet Street at that time.
