<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />
<br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT No. 3 TO NORTH VALLEY, INC.
<br />FOR MSA SUNWOOD DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-
<br />02
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct Municipal State Aid (MSA)
<br />Sunwood Drive between Nowthen Boulevard (CSAH 5) and Erkium Street as identified within
<br />the 2025 – 2034 Capital Improvement Plan; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-138, adopted May 28,
<br />2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson, for topographic
<br />survey of the project area in the amount of $1,600.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-220, adopted August 12,
<br />2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies,
<br />Inc., for a geotechnical report of the project area in the amount of $4,075.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-309, adopted November
<br />12, 2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal of Hydro-Klean, LLC, for sewer
<br />cleaning and televising of the project area in the amount of $8,384.80; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-338, adopted November
<br />26, 2024, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for MSA
<br />Sunwood Drive Reconstruction, Improvement Project #25-02; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-355, adopted on December
<br />10, 2024, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer
<br />and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking from Hakanson Anderson
<br />for said improvements in the amount of $6,500.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-019, adopted January 28,
<br />2025, a contract was awarded to North Valley, Inc. for Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of
<br />$272,962.90 for said improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, as of July 22, 2025 $223,999.60 has been paid to date; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and
<br />recommends partial payment No. 3 to North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, for improvement
<br />project #25-02, MSA Sunwood Drive Reconstruction, in the amount of $73,070.79.
