<br />The City of Ramsey is currently seeking candidates to fill
<br />a vacancy on the Economic Development Commission. The
<br />position requires a minimum of one morning meeting per
<br />month and an interest in economic development activities
<br />in the city; familiarity with Ramsey City Ordinances is
<br />desired. Ramsey residents interested in serving on the com-
<br />mission are requested to submit a letter of application to the
<br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW,
<br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303, by December 31,1985. The letter
<br />should contain the applicant's name, address, telephone
<br />number, work experience, education and any experience in
<br />municipal affairs. In addition, applications should include a
<br />statement listing their reasons for seeking appointment to
<br />the Economic Development Commission. The position is
<br />not salaried; however, compensation for incidental ex-
<br />penses is provided.

<br />audit of the city's financial
<br />records and transactions sup-

<br />law the City of Ramsey pre-
<br />pares financial statements for
<br />the end of each calendar ye.ar
<br />and retains an auditing firm to
<br />audit the financial statements.
<br />The comprehensive annual
<br />financial report presents a pic-
<br />ture of the city's financial

<br />position as of December 31 of
<br />the year audited and a recap of
<br />the revenues and expenditures

<br />FINANCIAL PLAN
<br />. The first long-Term Financi-
<br />al Plan, covering the years
<br />1985 to 1989, was adopted De-
<br />cember 18, 1984. This plan
<br />'contains five-year revenue and
<br />expenditure projections for all
<br />public service and capital im-
<br />provement programs. These
<br />programs include: legislative,
<br />administration, financial ad-
<br />ministration, planning, data
<br />processing, general govern-
<br />ment buildings, newsletter,
<br />police protection, fire protec-
<br />tion, building inspection, civil
<br />defense, animal control, pub-
<br />lic works, sanitation and weed
