Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Zimmerman, Cook, Elvig, Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. COUNCIL BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARING Public Hearing Case #1: Public Hearing: Introduce Ordinance to Correct Street name in Evergreen Point; Case of City of Ramsey Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:08 p.m. Presentation Community Development Director Frolik stated that the City just recently approved the final plat of Evergreen Point, a townhome development in the northwest quadrant of T.H. #47 and Alpine Drive N.W. Soon after recording, an error in the street name was brought to Staff's attention. Fluorine is designated as a 'Drive' and it should be a 'Street'. Fluorine should be consistently identified throughout the City as a 'Street'. Changing a street name requires adoption of an ordinance by City Council. No certificates of occupancy have been issued yet in Evergreen Point; therefore, there is no adverse impact on property owners at this point. City staff recommended introduction of the ordinance to correct the street name. Citizen Input There was none. Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Pearson, Cook, Elvig, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. The public hearing closed at 7:08 p.m. City Council/April 22, 2003 Page 4 of 21
