Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Introduce Ordinance to Correct Street name in Evergreen <br />Point; Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that the City just recently approved the final plat <br />of Evergreen Point, a townhome development in the northwest quadrant of T.H. #47 and Alpine <br />Drive N.W. Soon after recording, an error in the street name was brought to Staff's attention. <br />Fluorine is designated as a 'Drive' and it should be a 'Street'. Fluorine should be consistently <br />identified throughout the City as a 'Street'. Changing a street name requires adoption of an <br />ordinance by City Council. No certificates of occupancy have been issued yet in Evergreen <br />Point; therefore, there is no adverse impact on property owners at this point. City staff <br />recommended introduction of the ordinance to correct the street name. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Pearson, Cook, Elvig, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman.
