Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06- 11 -XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO BAUERLY COMPANIES FOR DIVISION B & C OF THE 2006 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM WHEREAS, on March 28, 2006 the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution accepting plans and specifications and authorizing the solicitation of bids; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Divisions B & C of bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, on July 25 2006 the Ramsey City Council adopted resolution 06 -07 -232 awarding Division B and Division C to Bauerly Companies. WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment No 1 to Bauerly Companies in the amount of $801.016.26. WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment No 2 to Bauerly Companies in the amount of $124,700.79. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Bauerly Brothers for Div. B and C of the Street Improvement Project in the amount of $124,700.79. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of November 28, 2006.
