!ibO~

BITS [iJ
rlECES

Doug Walton, the cities dog catcher, has resigned
effective July 20th. The City wishes at this time to
extend it's thanks for a job well done - Doug is moving
out of the state to a new job. Good Luck to you and
your family Doug.

I

A TI D BIT - A City is only as good as the citizens
want it to be - so lets all get it together and make
Ramsey the best there is.

Bruce Bacon, the City Forrestor, has a program to
subsidize the destruction of diseased trees. Contact him
for more information.

VOTING REGISTRATION - 1976 Election Year -
Remember, 1976 is an election year. We would like an
outstanding turnout at the polls, so register! It is your
right to VOTE!

HELP WANTED - Vacancies exist on both the Parks
and Recreation Comm. and the Planning and Zoning
Comm. The City needs public spirited citizens to
become involved in both of these most important areas
of government. Contact Don Walker at City Hall for
more information.

SPECIAL
Jul~

ELECTION
Z7th

The City will again vote on the referendum for a new
municipal center on July 27th. The total bond issue is
for $175,000.00
On the front page of this newsletter is a sketch of the
new building and on this page is a sketch of the position
of the new building on the site for your evaluation. As
you can see, the building takes up very little of the site
and there will be adequate space for future expansion.
The City Staff and the Police Department need the
space that this Center would provide as soon as possible.
Visit us at the present City Hall and evaluate the
conditions for yourself. The referendum has been
reduced by $50,000.00 (from $225,000.00 to
$175,000.00) exercise your right and Vote on July
27th.

153NE.1rM

\~.~~~-~~--~I!

\\'~\ _..;.
\\ !I, ' I

-=- . \ "~J
\

RAMSEY CITY HAll

Ramsey Report is published through the communication
department of School District No. 11.

RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL
Gary Gorham
Gary Reimann
David Mickelson
Beverly Oliphant

SCHOOL BOARD
A.G.
