Mike Baldwin from the Community
Education Department of the Anoka-Hennepin School District gave a short presentation about the
Eldermentor program. The program is a challenge that many of us will take to heart.

The officers for the coming year are:
Bertha Mae Johnston President
Edith Kiekow Vice President
Margaret Reynolds Secretary
Jade Pentz Treasurer

o

Our entertainment was provided by Louie and Jean Palermo. Louie played the accordion, piano,
keyboard, and ukulele. He and his wife sang together, too. There was a good group out to hear them.
We finalized plans for the Christmas Party, which is scheduled for December 1 st. Instead of
exchanging gifts, this year we ask to please bring non-perishable food or unwrapped toys for children from
grade school to high school age. We will have our own entertainment. We have some talented people
.. that will have a part in the program, and the food is always good. We had many visitors to our last
meeting, and we hope they come back. Everyone is welcome. Please join us for this festive occasion.
We'll see you then!
Bertha Mae Johnston, President: 421-3732

"

CAR-RT SRT
BULK RATE
U.S. POSTAGE
PAID
PERMIT NO. 131
ANOKA, MN 55303

POST AL CUSTOMER

()
