ORDINANCE #03-12 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 7~ WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE LICENSING AND PERMITS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MJNNESOTA. An ordinance to amend Chapter ? of the City Code, titled "Licensing and Permits" by the' addition of subchapter 7.20, titled "Business Registration Certificate." SECTION 1. Summary This new ordinance requires all Businesses in the City to obtain a Business Registration Certificate ('BRC'). The BRC establishes a comprehensive business list and detailed information pertaining to the operation of the Business which infor- mation will allow the City to provide accurate non-private information to the public, ensure the Business is operating in the appropriate facility, and pro~vid~'-f-o~ better means to alert the Police Department of any hazards or security issues that may affect the community. SECTION 2. Effective Date This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and (30) days after its publication according to law.
