<br />r <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />YOUR CITY NEWSLETTER <br /> <br />TAX ASSISTANCE, <br />HEALTH INSURANCE <br />COUNSELING AVAILABLE <br /> <br />Anoka County Retired and Senior <br />Volunteer Program (RSVP) will provide free <br />tax assistance for senior citizens, people with <br />disabilities and low to moderate income <br />households (under $35,000 annually) at various <br />sites in Anoka County, through April 15. <br />Trained volunteers can prepare federal and state <br />income tax forms and property tax rebate and <br />rent credit forms. Call the Free Tax Information <br />Line at 422-6923 for more information. <br />RSVP volunteers who have been trained <br />and certified as health insurance counselors can <br />meet with individuals to discuss concerns and <br />answer questions about Medicare, Medicare <br />Supplemental Insurance or Long Term Care <br />Insurance. They can also help seniors file <br />insurance claims. This free service is available <br />by individual appointment only.
