16

RAMSEY SENIORS

We were happy to have two special
luncheon guests at our October potluck. Mayor
Tom Gamec was there and gave us an upuate
on the new senior apartments to be built on
Trunk Highway #47 and County Road #5. He
also discussed our need for a piano, or better
yet, a key board. Susan Anderson ofthe Charter
Commission also lunched with us.
Representatives of the Lions Club brought
tickets for a County Music show in November.
Again, thanks so much to the members.
In November, the Ramsey Women of
Today will conduct a bingo game for our
program. When they did this last year we had
great fun.
We will have our own program in
December. Instead of exchanging ~ifts the
members will be asked to bring toys ahJ food
for Toys for Joy.
Have a nice Thanksgiving.
Zola Malamen, President

OFFICIAL
NEWSPAPER

The Anoka Union is the City of Ramsey's
official newspaper and is published each Friday.
All official notices, meeting schedules and City
Council agendas are published in the Anoka
Union as required by City Charter and State
Statutes.

CITY OF RAMSEY:

Mayor:
Tom Gamec
Councilmembers:
Carolyn Beahen
Sheila Beyer
Natalie Haas Steffen
Gerald Zimmerman
City Administrator:
Jim Norman 427-1410
Administrative Offices: 427-1410
Public Works Department: 427-8254
Parks Department: 427-8254
Police Department: 427-6812
Fire Department: 427-3674
Fire and Police Emergency: 911
TDD: 427-8591
Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday

421-7615

323-3263
753-4314
753-4298
753-4387

YOUR CITY
NEWSLETTER

The Ramsey Resident newsletter is paid for with public funds and
is intended to provide public information about community events and
local government. .
All inquiries and comments regarding the newsletter are welcome
and should be directed to the newsletter coordinator.
