109 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Lot Sizes <br />Of the residential lots with one unit (detached townhomes, single family homes, etc.), the majority <br />are on lots less than one acre according to 2016 Metropolitan Council data. The map below shows <br />the geographic distribution of different sized single-family residential lots. The larger lots are <br />generally not near The COR, but are instead in the west, north, and northeast portions of the City. <br />Lots in residential subdivisions are generally less than 5 acres, and usually less than 2 acres. Lot <br />sizes tend to increase in the northern portion of the City, and are smaller in the central and <br />southern portions of the City. This shift in lot size reflects the shift from rural character in the north <br />into a more urban growth pattern in the central and southern parts of the City. <br /> <br />Figure 26: Area Lot Sizes <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
