Provide letters of support for new development projects for funding applications <br />Strategy: Rehabilitate and improve housing stock to preserve rural character and enhance <br />existing neighborhoods <br />Policies and Actions: <br />1. Eliminate blighting influences such as unkempt yards, glaring lights, unscreened <br />storage, noise, inappropriate vehicle storage, etc. <br />3. Identify and remove substandard housing units that are economically unfeasible to <br />rehabilitate. <br />4. Create a simple webpage/portal that allows residents to voice anonymously code <br />enforcement concerns <br />5. Create relationships with neighborhood leaders and Community Development Staff <br />6. Create and implement a strategy for targeted outreach to homeowners of aging <br />housing <br />7. Monitor the City’s housing supply to ensure quality, low-income options <br />8. Create Eliminate blighting influences such as unkempt yards, glaring lights, <br />unscreened storage, noise, inappropriate vehicle storage, etc. <br />9. Develop a strong relationship with manufactured housing community management <br />to continue ongoing rehabilitation of site and provide resources for continued <br />maintenance
