While the wetland <br />buffer standards are no longer codified, the Wetland Inventory is still relied upon to understand <br />what, if any, impacts proposed development may have, especially regarding wetlands classified as <br />high and exceptional. <br />Natural Resource Initiatives and Pilot Projects <br />Ramsey has completed a number of natural resource initiatives and pilot projects in recent years. <br />Key programs include, but are not limited to the following. <br />• Buildable Area Standards <br />• Pollinator Friendly Habitat <br />• Shoreline Protection <br />Buildable Area Standards <br />In 2016, the City adopted new standards related to lot depth as well as instituted a wetland setback. <br />The purpose of both of these standards was to ensure that newly created lots would actually have
