1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />1.1 Introduction <br />Presbyterian Homes & Services and Senior Housing Partners retained Pinnacle <br />Engineering, Inc. (Pinnacle) to conduct a Level 2, On -Site, Wetland Delineation of the <br />Lord of Life Lutheran Church located at 14501 Nowthen Blvd. NW, Ramsey, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota (Site). The Site consists of one parcel of land approximately 35.5 <br />acres in size. The Site is within the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 25, Township 32N, <br />Range 25W (Lat: 45.235659°, Long:-93.403106°). The Site includes the Lord of Life <br />Lutheran Church, two houses, parking lots, fallow areas, uplands, and wetlands. <br />The purpose of the wetland delineation was to determine the presence of wetland areas <br />on the Site. The Level 2 wetland delineation was conducted in substantial conformance <br />with the 1987 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual, updated <br />February 25, 1997, and utilizes the Midwest Regional Supplement. This report documents <br />the methods and findings of the delineation. The local governmental unit (LGU) is the <br />Lower Rum River Watershed Management Organization (LRRWMO). <br />1.2 Scope <br />Pinnacle conducted a Level 2 Onsite Wetland Determination and Delineation in <br />accordance with the criteria established in the 1987 U. S. Army Corps of Engineers <br />(ACOE) Wetland Delineation Manual, updated in 1997, utilizing the Midwest Regional <br />Supplement. The work included the following items: <br />• Review of County Soil Surveys, USGS topographic maps, National Wetland <br />Inventory (NWI) Maps, Public Water Inventory (PWI) maps, and aerial <br />photographs. <br />• A site reconnaissance to determine if and where wetlands exist. <br />• Delineation of the identified wetlands within the area of interest boundaries. <br />• Preparation and submittal of this report summarizing the findings of our work. <br />2.0 BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br />2.1 Site Location and Use <br />The Site consists of one parcel approximately 35.5-acres in size, is within the SE '/4 of <br />NW '/4 of Section 25, Township 32N, Range 25W (Lat: 45.235659°, Long:-93.403106°). <br />The Site contains portions of the Lord of Life Lutheran church, parking lots, fallow areas, <br />and wetlands. The property totals approximately 35.5-acres in size with property <br />identification number (PID) 25-32-25-24-0059.
