Commissioner Trites Rolle asked if a single user is being considered for the site. Mr. Austin replied there is a possibility of multiple tenants on the site; it will be market driven. Regarding the lights, they could look at things to keep the lighting down. Chairperson Nixt stated he would be very opposed to a gas station at this location. Mr. Austin replied a gas station is not a consideration for the site. Commissioner Trites Rolle commented some of the uses listed, such as a clinic or something of the nature of CVS, would be beneficial to the people in the townhomes and the growing population, as opposed to just another strip mall type of use. The suggested type of use would also cause a little less late night traffic, which would probably raise some opposition. It would help a great deal if the access is taken care of. Commissioner Cleveland inquired about the possibility of a fast food restaurant that could serve the surrounding industrial users being located on the site. Commissioner VanScoy stated a fast food restaurant at tIns location would cause a concern regarding increased traffic; a smaller drug store pharmacy type use would not have as much traffic as a fast food restaurant. Chairperson Nixt noted consensus of the Commission is that there is no significant opposition to commercial zoning on this site, subject to the type of use proposed for the site. 2) December Planning Commission Meeting Chairperson Nixt announced that the December Planning Commission meeting will be at the new municipal center. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Commissioner Levine, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, to adjourn the meeting. Motion Carried. V oting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Levine, Cleveland, Brauer, Hunt, Trites Rolle, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: None.
