<br />Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-205 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF “BROOKSIDE TERRACE” <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Ronald Sivigny of Brookside Construction, Inc., hereafter referred to as <br />“Applicant,” properly applied for Preliminary Plat approval of the following described property located <br />in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Lot 3, Block 1, Haubrich Addition <br /> <br />Or upon recording <br /> <br />Lots 1-6 (inclusive), Block 1, Brookside Terrace, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br /> (the ‘Subject Property’); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed plat of Brookside Addition is a continuation of the replatting of the <br />Haubrich Addition plan that was started in 1990; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, though only not consistent with the density requirements set forth in the current <br />2040 Comprehensive Plan’s land use designation of Low Density Residential as it falls below the 2.25- <br />4.00 units per acre requirement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property was first platted in 1990 anticipating sanitary sewer and water <br />extensions within a few years after approval in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan in effect at <br />that time; and <br /> <br />st <br />WHEREAS, 151 Lane NW was constructed in the 1990s and provided a basis for the proposed <br />plat; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, some of the utility services were installed to the property with that road <br />construction project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Subject Property is zoned R-1B, Single-Family Residential District meets all <br />st <br />of the district’s bulk requirements, consistent with the other properties on 151 Lane NW; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on August 28, 2025, to review the <br />Preliminary Plat; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended the City Council approve the Preliminary <br />Plat; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Preliminary Plat on September 9, 2025, at the <br />request of the Applicant. <br /> <br /> <br />
