Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #25-227 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR 2025 NEIGHBORHOOD PAVEMENT <br />OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-07 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous street segments <br />in 2025 as identified within the 2025 — 2034 Capital Improvement Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-295, adopted October 22, 2024, the <br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic survey of the <br />project area in the amount of $5,900.00; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-342, adopted November 26, 2024, <br />the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for 2025 Neighborhood <br />Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #25-07; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-080, adopted April 22, 2025, the <br />City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized <br />advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-104, adopted May 27, 2025, a <br />contract was awarded to North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of $1,198,056.75 for <br />said improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, Change Order #1 increases construction costs by $26,301.62 for the purpose of <br />replacing pavement markings within the project limits. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The City Council hereby approves Change Order #1 in the total amount of $26,301.62 for North <br />Valley, Inc. to replace pavement markings within the project limits. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23'd <br />
