<br />Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-08-250 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE PERSONNEL POLICY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey recently adopted a revised personnel policy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the personnel policy will be updated periodically; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator will on occasion need to conduct business <br />lunches with developers, staff and others; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 12, Professional Development, of the City Administrator's <br />employment agreement states the following: <br /> <br />The CITY agrees to budget and to pay for travel and subsistence expenses of <br />EMPLOYEE for professional and official travel, meetings, and occasions, <br />adequate to continue the professional development of EMPLOYEE and to <br />adequately pursue necessary official functions of the CITY. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey amends Section 10.1, Travel Policy, to <br />include the following underlined language: <br /> <br />The maximum reimbursement rates for meals, taxes and tip are as follows: <br /> <br />Breakfast $ 7 <br />Lunch $11 <br />Dinner $18 <br /> <br />The City Council reco2:nizes the DubUc DurDose of the City <br />Administrator's business meetin2:s with develoDers. staff and others: <br />therefore. the City Council 2:rants discretion to the City <br />Administrator in seekin2: reimbursement from the City for business <br />meals. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />
