<br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:19 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Resolution #06- <br />09-304 adopting assessments for Improvement Project #06-02 and Resolution #06-09-305 <br />adopting assessments for Improvement Project #06-03. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Cook, Elvig, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Public Hearing and Levy of Special Assessments for Improvement Project <br />#05-24 Saint Francis Boulevard Frontage Road Grading and Paving <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:20 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski indicated this project includes the grading and paving of the Saint <br />Francis Boulevard frontage road south of 160th Lane. The contract for this project was awarded <br />on July 25, 2006, and construction is anticipated to be completed this fall. It is proposed to <br />assess each of the three benefited property owners $3,885 in accordance with the amount <br />estimated in the revised feasibility study dated June 28, 2006. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted the concerns expressed by Mr. Bolier during the Citizen Input portion of the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Strommen, Jeffrey, Cook, Elvig, <br />Olson, and Pearson.
