Exhibit 1

Area 1. The 244 trees counted in Area 1 represented 28 different species. However,
most of the tree species tallied in Area 1 were found only occasionally or rarely - ten
species were only represented by a single tree. Boxelder (16.8%), buckthorn (14.8%), bur
oak (13.1 %), prickly ash (9.4%) and aspen (8.6%) were the most common trees, in that
order.

Table 2.
Count
41
36
32
23
21
19
15
9
7
7
34

Species
Boxelder
Buckthorn, common
Oak, bur
Ash, prickly
Aspen
Cherry, black
Oak, red
Spruce, white
Ash, green
Basswood
Other

Percent
16.8
14.8
13.1
9.4
8.6
7.8
6.1
3.7
2.9
2.5
14.3

In this area 62.3% of the trees (152 trees) are regeneration (less than or equal to 4" DBH).

Table 3.
