We're Hiring! Rink Attendant Salary: $13.00-$14.50 Hourly Closing Date: October 19 at 11:59 p.m. The Rink Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment at the Central Park warming house and skating rinks during the winter season. This temporary, part-time position ensures that facilities are clean, orderly, and operated in accordance with City rules and safety standards. Weather permitting, the warming house is expected to open Friday, December 19, 2025, and will remain open for approximately ten weeks. Typical warming house hours are: Weekdays: 3:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Saturdays: 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Sundays: 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Winter break/holidays: 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. (weather dependent) Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age by Thursday, December 4, 2025. Must pass a criminal background check. Desired Qualifications - Previous experience working as a rink attendant or in a similar recreational facility role. Training and/or certification in First Aid. NOTE All individuals that are hired must be able to attend the MANDATORY orientation on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. City Engineer Salary: $64.47-$80.59 Hourly Closing Date: October 5 at 11:59 p.m. The City Engineer is responsible for overseeing the coordination of activities and resources related to the planning, design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of public infrastructure in alignment with City Council policy and applicable federal, state and local regulations. This position provides leadership and oversight for consultant and in-house designed public improvement projects, manages the performance and conduct of Engineering personnel, and directs the development and implementation of engineering plans, policies, and procedures. The City Engineer is also responsible for short- and long-term planning to ensure that infrastructure services meet the expectations of the City Council, City staff, and the community. 2026 Wage Scale: Step 1: $ 64.47 I Step 2: $67.69 I Step 3: $70.92 Step 4: $74.14 I Step 5: $77.37 I Step 6: $80.59 per hour On -Call Snowplow Drivers Salary: $16.00-$20.00 Hourly Closing Date: Open Until Filled The City is seeking dependable Temporary On -Call Snowplow Drivers to assist with clearing public streets, parking lots, trails, sidewalks and cul-de-sacs during winter storms. Drivers operate a 1-ton pickup truck and related equipment on an as -needed basis. Typical shifts begin around 2:00 a.m. and continue until routes are complete, usually lasting 6-10 hours. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Minnesota driver's license with a good driving record and pass a background check and drug screen. Experience operating and maintaining snow removal equipment is required. Seniors and individuals with prior snowplowing experience are encouraged to apply!
