We're Hiring! <br />Rink Attendant <br />Salary: $13.00-$14.50 Hourly <br />Closing Date: October 19 at 11:59 p.m. <br />The Rink Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe <br />and welcoming environment at the Central Park warming <br />house and skating rinks during the winter season. This <br />temporary, part-time position ensures that facilities are <br />clean, orderly, and operated in accordance with City rules <br />and safety standards. Weather permitting, the warming <br />house is expected to open Friday, December 19, 2025, and <br />will remain open for approximately ten weeks. Typical <br />warming house hours are: <br />Weekdays: 3:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. <br />Saturdays: 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. <br />Sundays: 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. <br />Winter break/holidays: 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. <br />(weather dependent) <br />Minimum Qualifications <br />Must be at least 16 years of age by Thursday, December 4, <br />2025. Must pass a criminal background check. <br />Desired Qualifications - Previous experience working as a <br />rink attendant or in a similar recreational facility role. <br />Training and/or certification in First Aid. <br />NOTE <br />All individuals that are hired must be able to attend the <br />MANDATORY orientation on Thursday, December 4, <br />2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br />City Engineer <br />Salary: $64.47-$80.59 Hourly <br />Closing Date: October 5 at 11:59 p.m. <br />The City Engineer is responsible for overseeing the <br />coordination of activities and resources related to <br />the planning, design, construction, inspection, and <br />maintenance of public infrastructure in alignment with <br />City Council policy and applicable federal, state and local <br />regulations. This position provides leadership and oversight <br />for consultant and in-house designed public improvement <br />projects, manages the performance and conduct of <br />Engineering personnel, and directs the development <br />and implementation of engineering plans, policies, and <br />procedures. The City Engineer is also responsible for <br />short- and long-term planning to ensure that infrastructure <br />services meet the expectations of the City Council, City <br />staff, and the community. <br />2026 Wage Scale: <br />Step 1: $ 64.47 I Step 2: $67.69 I Step 3: $70.92 <br />Step 4: $74.14 I Step 5: $77.37 I Step 6: $80.59 per hour <br />On -Call Snowplow Drivers <br />Salary: $16.00-$20.00 Hourly <br />Closing Date: Open Until Filled <br />The City is seeking dependable Temporary On -Call <br />Snowplow Drivers to assist with clearing public streets, <br />parking lots, trails, sidewalks and cul-de-sacs during winter <br />storms. Drivers operate a 1-ton pickup truck and related <br />equipment on an as -needed basis.
