Thorson@ anokacountvmn. aov <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br />Metro Transit Now Offering "Micro" Bus Service in Blaine Zone <br />Metro Transit just started offering a "micro" bus service in the Blaine zone, which is a <br />door-to-door ride -share transit service that uses ADA-accessible minibuses. <br />The service connects users to shopping, medical appointments, entertainment, and more. It <br />also allows for riders to transfer to routes 10, 25, 804 and 852 to further their trips. Visit <br />metrotransit.ora/micro-blaine for info on how to download the Metro micro app to book rides or <br />call 651-602-1170. Each Metro micro ride must start and end in the service area. Riders choose <br />their starting point they can be picked up at their houses. Drop-off destinations are also chosen <br />by the rider, such as a bus stop, METRO station, or anywhere else in the service area. <br />This service is available 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on <br />weekends.
