<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-227 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR 2025 NEIGHBORHOOD <br />PAVEMENT OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-07 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous street <br />segments in 2025 as identified within the 2025 – 2034 Capital Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-295, adopted October 22, <br />2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic <br />survey of the project area in the amount of $5,900.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-342, adopted November <br />26, 2024, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for 2025 <br />Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #25-07; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-080, adopted April 22, <br />2025, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer <br />and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-104, adopted May 27, <br />2025, a contract was awarded to North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of <br />$1,198,056.75 for said improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Change Order #1 increases construction costs by $26,301.62 for the purpose <br />of replacing pavement markings within the project limits. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The City Council hereby approves Change Order #1 in the total amount of $26,301.62 for <br />North Valley, Inc. to replace pavement markings within the project limits. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peters and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
