<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-231 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />WATERFRONT WATER-PLAY PARK UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT #25-61 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 12th, the City Council acknowledged by consensus that quotes for <br />the Waterfront water-play park utility improvements would be presented in a subsequent consent <br />agenda case to request formal City Council approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, requests for quotes were solicited from five (5) local contractors known to <br />responsibly provide such services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, three (3) quotes were received as follows; and <br /> <br />Contractor Total Quote <br />Dave Perkins Contracting $147,880.38 <br />Twin Cities Utilities, LLC $150,098.37 <br />Sauter & Sons Excavating, Inc. $163,586.00 <br />Engineer’s Estimate $168,491.50 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dave Perkins Contracting provided the lowest responsible quote in the <br />amount of $147,880.38 and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said <br />proposer for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peters and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
