<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-233 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING A NEW MEMBER TO THE ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. William MacLennan has announced his resignation from the EDA; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Nichole Bauer was previously appointed to a partial term on the Planning <br />Commission and her preferred appointment at the time was the EDA; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council appointed her to the Planning Commission, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with this new vacancy, both Ms. Bauer and the City Council wish to have <br />her serve on the Economic Development Authority, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, both Ms. Bauer and the City Council wish to have continue to serve on the <br />Planning Commission until the next annual recruitment. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey hereby appoints Ms. Nichole Bauer to a partial term on the EDA <br />effective October 1, 2025 through March 31, 2027. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peters and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
