" .. WHEREAS, all three of the development scenanos for the comprehensive plan amendment reviewed by the Planning Commission and City Council on January 4, 2005 reflected the proposed plat of Brookfield Addition being developed with urban services; and WHEREAS, the comprehensive plan amendment request meets the criteria established in the Interim Policy for Proposed Land Use Changes adopted by the Ramsey City Council on April 26, 2005; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on June 2, 2005, conducted a public hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the Property Owner's request for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change of the Subject Property from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential. 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. 3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of notification of approval from Metropolitan Council. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Pearson Councilmember Olson Councilmember Cook Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Strommen and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Jeffrey RESOLUTION #05-06-190 Page 3 of 4
