<br />" <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all three of the development scenanos for the comprehensive plan <br />amendment reviewed by the Planning Commission and City Council on January 4, 2005 <br />reflected the proposed plat of Brookfield Addition being developed with urban services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the comprehensive plan amendment request meets the criteria established <br />in the Interim Policy for Proposed Land Use Changes adopted by the Ramsey City Council on <br />April 26, 2005; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on June 2, 2005, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the Property Owner's request <br />for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change <br />of the Subject Property from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary <br />documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan <br />to change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br />3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of <br />notification of approval from Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-06-190 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
