Member adoption: CITY OF RAMSEjY, MINNESOTA introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION INITIATING OF REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ARE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Minnesota (the "City"), as follows: 1. Recitals. (a) Pursuant to Minnesota the Housing and Redevelopment Autl "Authority"), is authorized to exercise and L,OCESS FOR APPROVAL AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING (the "Council") of the City of Ramsey, itatutes, Sections 469.001 through 469.047, )city of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the development and redevelopment powers; (b) It has been proposed that the Authority establish a Redevelopment Project Area as described herein (the 'Redevelopment Project Area"), in connection with the acquisition and b tterment of a project consisting of Ramsey Crossings and adopting the Redevelo Ment Plan for the Redevelopment Project Area (the "Plan"); all pursuant to and in conformity with applicable law; and (c) The Authority has req ested that the Council hold a public hearing on the Plan, as required by Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.028, Subdivision 1. 2. Public Hearing. The Council will hold a public hearing on the Plan at a meeting of the Council to be held on January 9, 2007, commencing at 7:00 p.m. The staff of the City is hereby authorized and directed to cause the Notice of Public Hearing which is attached to this Resolution to be published in the City's official newspaper not more than 30 and not less than 10 days prior to the scheduled hearing date.
