<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-199 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF A DRONE FROM MORRISON COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey intends to implement a drone program within the Police <br />Department in December 2025; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, that Morrison County Sheriff’s Office has a DJI Inspire 1 Drone, serial <br />number W13DEH160R1238, as excess property due to upgrades to their fleet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Morrison County has graciously offered to donate such drone to the Ramsey <br />Police Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Police Department would utilize the drone for training purposes <br />to enhance the skills and capabilities of our officers. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The City of Ramsey accepts the donation of a DJI Inspire 1 Drone from the Morrison <br />County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />2) The City of Ramsey expresses is appreciation for the donation. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
