CITY OF RAMSEY <br />CONTRACT FOR CURBSIDE <br />RECYCLING SERVICES <br />This agreement is made as of the day of , 2025, between the City of <br />Ramsey, a Minnesota municipal corporation located at 7550 Sunwood Drive, Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />("City"), and Ace Solid Waste, Inc. a Minnesota corporation located at 6601 McKinley St. N.W., <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 ("Contractor"). <br />The City and the Contractor agree as follows: <br />SECTION 1. PURPOSE <br />The purpose of this agreement is to establish a curbside Recycling Program for the collection of <br />Recyclable Materials from residents of the City of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS <br />For purposes of this Contract, the following words and terms shall have the definitions given them <br />by this section. <br />Aluminum Cans — Disposable containers fabricated primarily of aluminum, commonly used for soda, <br />beer, juice, water, or other beverages. <br />Bi-Weekly — Occurring once every two weeks or every other week. <br />Boxboard — Dry goods boxes including, but not necessarily limited to, cereal, cake, chip, and cracker <br />boxes. <br />Cartons — Paper cartons used for liquids such as juice, milk, soup, and broth. <br />City Administrator - means the then duly appointed and qualified City Administrator of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />Collection — The act of collecting Recyclable Materials from the Recycling Carts by the Contractor's <br />personnel in authorized collection vehicles. <br />Contract — The agreement to be entered into between the City and Contractor. <br />Contractor — The City's recycling service contractor under this Contract. <br />Corrugated Cardboard — Cardboard materials with double wall construction and a corrugated, wavy layer <br />separating the outer walls. This does not include plastic, wax, or other coated cardboard. <br />Curbside — The area of a private street or public road right-of-way between the property line and the curb <br />or edge of the street, but not on the street itself. <br />
